The Houston Rodeo is kind of a big deal.  Justin and Mai scored front row seats, which was great, except when I was enjoying a plate of nachos and the stagecoach races began!  Dirt on hot cheese never looked so unappealing!  We captured the evening light with a little bit of analogue vs. digital.  Justin’s Fugifilm x100f renders color so well, and since he is a designer by day, his eye for subject matter is something to aspire to.  I brought my two cameras and shot 400tx b&w in the Nikon sp pushed two stops and my favorite evening time color film, cinestill 800t, in the point and shoot Olympus xa2.  Photos of Justin skating were at the iconic EZ-7 ditch.  Disc golf is more our speed these days, and there’s a good course nearby, so we stopped by after a round of golf to appreciate how gnarly this diy project is in real life.  Below, are Justin’s keepers, “misery and joy at the county fair!”
